Gee whiz .... I never even thought about arriving in Christchurch the day after the 5-year anniversary of their BIG earthquake. Yep ~ it happened Feb 22, 2011, and we will arrive on February 23rd.
But I guess it doesn't really matter ... Mother Nature has her own plans ...

This is just more proof that we truly have very little control and that ANYTHING can happen ANYWHERE and at ANYTIME.
So, once again, I reach the same conclusion ...
